Since relocating our ProTools recording studio from Upstate NY to our current location in Philadelphia there has been a big set up of equipment here at Leopard Studio. We sure do have both a lot of real instruments, keyboards, samplers and the like, plus way too many microphones. Looks like we finally are up and running though now. This week we set up our trusty broadcasting microphone, the SM7B, made famous by Micheal Jackson’s use of it for his thriller album, and recorded a new voiceover for a video we are making with Fab Web Work. Kate (of Fab) came in and ran a few takes of the text, some edits were made, and pretty quickly we had our first recording completed here at the new location! So….up and running!
