Leopard Studio is the perfect recording studio to get away from it all and do some real recording. We are always hearing about how our studio is the perfect environment for creativity - that the studio just has a great feeling to it. No one wants to leave.

With a cathedral ceiling in the live and control rooms, as well as sound treatment and design, sound quality is maximized. A quality assortment of fantastic microphones and great sounding audio gear make Leopard Studio excellent for tracking and live projects. Experienced protools engineering and mixing can make a big difference in the quality of any project, and doing all or part of it at our studio can be a real boost to the overall finished project. Clients have the option to stay in the studio as they record and often this creates a creative and supportive environment to do some really great work.

We Use Protools HD2 Accel, Neve, Api, Distressor, Avalon, DBX, Sytek, and other top rated gear. You will sound good, unless you don't want to....

Jimmy Goodman (owner, producer, engineer) has recorded, mixed and produced music of all styles. He has over 20 years of professional music experience to draw upon in the recording studio.

In 2010, he released "A Viberatto". This is a unique instrumental group with influences from soundtracks and Icelandic music. This release features performances by Garth Hudson, Tony Levin, Jane Scarpantoni and Ross Rice.

In 2001, he toured Spain and England while in the band, MadJuana. Jimmy plays vibes with "The Styrenes" playing Terry Riley's "In C". It is available on Enja Records. Jimmy plays vibraphone, drums and keyboards.

In previous years, he has performed throughout the U.S. and in Europe playing rock & roll, jazz, classical, reggae, R&B, hip hop, and more.

RATE INFORMATION

General Studio Rate:
$50/HOUR - 2-hr minimum
Full Day "Lock Out" (11 hrs studio time) = $500
(12hr block including 1-hour dinner break - 11hrs studio time)

Band Tracking* Session Rate:
Band Tracking Booked by Day and 1/2 Day Sessions
Half Day = 6 Hours ($400)
Full Day "Lock Out" (11 hrs studio time) = $600
(12hr block including 1-hour dinner break - 11hrs studio time)
$60/HOUR each additional hour

*Band Tracking Sessions: Set up time includes 2 engineers at Leopard Studio. This enables a more fluid environment and a speedier set up and recording session.

• We have overnight accommodations.
  
• Rates include equipment and the engineer. If using the Steinway, there is an additional cost of $85 for piano tuning.
• Bands are invited to create meals in the kitchen which has a refrigerator, stove, toaster oven, microwave and all utensils.
• There are also some great restaurants and take away places around.

Are you a producer or do you have a self engineered project?

Leopard Studio is a great environment to focus on your project in peace. We are a perfect studio to get away from town and focus on tracking your record, get a great vocal sound with our quality microphones, doing some focused writing sessions, or use our Protools HD rig for a great mix.

Or maybe you'd like to drop in a session player from the area into your project. Really, the possibilities are endless, and there's been a lot of different people here. Maybe you can just sort of move in for a bit. It's really beautiful here!

NEED A VIDEO AUDITION DVD? Call us.

These days many cruise ships and gigs require a dvd audition. We can film the video audition inside the studio, edit the results and you will leave with a dvd.
